Hi I'm Jeremy, and I am a qualified mechanic with 20+ years experience on the tools. In the past I have worked for Toyota & Nissan. I spent many years working as an independent Subaru specialist rebuilding engines and transmissions and learning all the quirks of a Subaru.

 

Once I was qualified, my wife and I purchased our first business in Tauranga - Rapt Automotive, which had been operating for 40+ years. We specialized in Subaru and became very popular. We grew the business rapidly, continuing for 12 years before deciding to recover our work life balance and relocating. Keeping the business in the family, we sold it to my brother, who still resides in Tauranga. We had also purchased a Tyre and Towbar business and had that for 2 years. 

 

Once we moved to Whitianga, I decided to give being a mobile mechanic a go, so I started Rapt Auto Whitianga. Setting up my ute and still specialising in Subaru but servicing all makes and models, as well as installing Towbars. 

 

It's becoming very popular and continues to grow as people realise how hassle free it is to have someone come to you, saving you time and money.
